Another Magician Goes Pro

The Minnesota Magicians are excited to announce that Lukas Laub has inked a contract with Lowen Frankfurt in the Deutsche Ice Hockey Liga Two (DEL2). The Rosenheim Germany native was a huge part of the Magicians offense last season, collecting 23 goals and 21 assists through the regular season and playoffs.

Prior to playing with the Magicians, Lukas appeared in the United Stated Hockey League (USHL) with the Indiana Ice and led the Odessa Jackalopes of the (NAHL) in scoring in 2014.  Lukas also represented Germany in the (WJC) World junior Classic in 2014.

This season, Laub has already experienced success in Frankfurt, adding 8 points in as many games. With continued success Lukas is eyeing up an opportunity to get called up the Deutsche Ice Hockey Liga (DEL) the top Tier pro league in Germany.
