Richfield, MN – The Minnesota Magicians of the North American Hockey League are excited to name Gaven Bickford to the position of General Manager and Director of Scouting. Gaven has proven over the last three seasons that he is one of the up and coming leaders in junior hockey. ” Gaven has been instrumental in forming, recruiting, and coaching the team, and he has been a large part of the success these past few years” said Scott Krueger from the Magicians ownership group. The Magicians are off to a strong start and are currently 8-2-0 on the season. Gaven will also continue his assistant coaching duties with the team this season.
The Magicians also named Stu Bickel to Assistant General Manager as well as head coach of the team. Stu’s leadership has been instrumental in the team’s quick start this season.
The Magicians ownership group is proud to have Gaven and Stu leading and representing the brand and helping junior level players reach their goals of playing college hockey.

AJ Bucchino is no longer part of the Magicians ownership group and does not have any responsibilities with the team. We thank AJ for his hard work and wish him success going forward.
