Bryce began his career in coaching as a player/assistant coach with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits of the ECHL. He has also engaged in scouting European pros and helped his current team at the time, the Cardiff Devils, build their team during the offseason.

“I’m thrilled to join the Windigo and honored to be selected.  I’ve followed the team during its two seasons in Eagle River.  To have the opportunity to join a young organization that has already established a track record of success is something I was seeking as the next step in my hockey career,” stated Reddick upon being selected to join the Windigo.  “I appreciate the confidence that coach Mitchell and the organization have placed in me.  I am focused on building upon the success of the organization.  I got to know Blake Hietala during my time at Michigan Tech and was pleased to see his success with the Windigo.  He and Casey Kirley did a great a job during the past two seasons.  I am excited for the opportunity and can’t wait to meet the players.  Coach Mitchell and I are determined to build upon the success the team has experienced.  I’ve heard a lot of great things about the atmosphere at the Dome,  and the fans from Eagle River and the surrounding area.  It sounds like a fantastic junior hockey environment,” continued Bryce.

Windigo head coach John Mitchell offered the following, “Bryce will be vital contributor to our staff.  We had a number of highly qualified candidates apply for the position.  I believe that’s a testament to the success the Windigo have had.  This organization has established a reputation as being a great place for players, and coaches alike, to advance their careers.  The Windigo have a tremendous support network of fans, billets, and volunteers. With that comes the responsibility to bring the absolute best to the team.  We found that in Bryce.”

Assistant coach Reddick will use his experience as a collegiate and professional defenseman to work with Windigo blueliners and take responsibility for the penalty kill unit.  He will also assist with skill development, scouting, recruiting and other duties.  Bryce has gained a reputation as an effective communicator and an ability to relate to players. He will focus on developing players to their fullest potential, on and off the ice. “My commitment to development extends beyond the immediate confines of the game. I am dedicated to creating an environment where young athletes can thrive, not just in their sporting careers but in their personal development – both as athletes and individuals,” concluded Reddick.
