The Minnesota Magicians are excited to announce that defenseman Andrew Kruse has signed a tender agreement with the team for the upcoming season.

Kruse is from Delano, Minnesota where he has starred on the Delano High School varsity team for the past three seasons. As a captain this season, he contributed 3 goals and 29 assists for a total of 32 points during the regular season. He followed up his great regular season by leading Delano to the State Tournament, where he was named to the All-Tournament Team as the Tigers won the Class-A Consolation title.

Speaking about signing with the Magicians for next year, Kruse said “I am really excited to become a Magician and start the next step of my hockey career. The amount of exposure for the players is unbelievable and it’s a great place to continue to develop.”

Magicians Assistant Coach Ben Weiand added, “Andrew was very productive with Delano High School last year, often playing against other teams’ top lines. He plays a two-way game with a high hockey IQ and we are excited to add another talented local player like Andrew to our defensive group for the upcoming season.”
