Draft Pick Profile: Carter Breitenfeldt

Aug 1, 2017

The Minnesota Magicians selected the former Breck Mustang, Carter Breitenfeldt with the 59th pick in the 2017 NAHL Draft.

A native of Edina, Breitenfeldt played four years with Mustangs varsity team. In those four years, Breitenfeldt tallied 100 points. Last year, his senior season, he had 55 points (17 goals and 38 assists) in 25 games.

Breitenfeldt plays big in big games and during his career at Breck he tallied 17 points in 12 playoff games. Now that’s production when the team needs it the most.

“Carter is a big-body forward that plays really well below the dots,” said Minnesota Magicians, Head Coach Scott Meyer. “He works hard and can score those dirty goals every team needs. We are excited about drafting a player like Carter and think he will be a great fit with the Magicians”
