Draft Pick Profile: Jake Hale

Jake Hale was selected by the Minnesota Magicians in the 4th round (70th overall) in the 2017 NAHL draft.

Hale is an extremely skilled forward from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Last season, in the Minnesota State High School League he tallied 45 points (20 goals 25 assists) in 24 games. He continues to impress at every level he plays at.

Hale is a commit of the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He is the first player from Minneapolis high school to commit  Division 1 in 30 years. Hale will also be a member of Team USA in the 5-Nations tournament in August.

Assistant Coach Ben Weiand said, “Jake is one of the most talented 2001s kids in the country. He has high-end skill and makes everyone he plays with a better player. We are excited to add a local player of Jake’s caliber to the Magicians.”
