The Minnesota Magicians went north and found Jake Seitz from Mountain Iron, MN for the 176th selection in the 2017 NAHL Draft.
Seitz is only 17 but has already played three years of Varsity hockey at Virginia/Mountain Iron-Buhl high school. Over the past three years, Seitz has tallied 82 points in 49 games, including 26 points in just 12 games last season.
Seitz was a USA Select-17s National Development Camp attendee this summer, where got to showcase his skills against the best players in his age group.
