Aug 4, 2017

Zach Dubinsky, 2000-born forward from Deerfield, Illinois has signed with the Minnesota Magicians for the upcoming 2017-18 season.

The Illinois native, played last season with the Chicago Mission in the High-Performance Hockey League (HPHL). Dubinsky tallied 14 points (6 goals and 8 assists) in 19 games. He’s a two-way forward that brings energy on every shift.

Dubinsky’s talent has been noticed on a national stage too. He was an attendee of the USA Select-17s National Development Camp, where he had 5 points in 5 games.

Dubinsky had this to say about joining the Magicians, “I am very excited to be joining the Magicians of the upcoming season. After playing a few games as an affiliate last year, it is clear that playing for the Magicians will be a great place for me to develop my game. I’m looking forward to getting things started!”

“Zach is a forward that is responsible at both ends of the ice,” said Minnesota Magicians Head Coach, Scott Meyer. “He’s a player that can impact a game and rarely takes a shift off. We are excited to have Zach join the Magicians for the upcoming season.”
