The Minnesota Magicians are excited to announce that Delano High School standout John Keranen has signed a tender agreement with the team for the 2017-2018 season.

The skilled Keranen has been putting up big numbers as a forward in the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) for a few years at Delano High School. Last season as a junior, he scored 18 goals to go along with 30 assists and a total of 48 points through the regular season and playoffs. This year, he is the captain of a highly skilled squad and is again putting up great offensive stats for the Tigers, who are currently the top ranked team in Class A. In the first quarter of his senior season, he already has 25 points on 12 goals and 13 assists.

Speaking about Keranen, Magicians Head Coach and General Manager Scott Meyer said, “John is playing with a very skilled Delano High School squad. We feel he is a big body and has a ton of skill.”
