Magicians Alumni Report

Magicians have alumni that are having success all over the country at all different levels. The Magic are proud to see so many of their alumni doing great things at the next level.  Here’s your November Magicians Alumni Report! Once a Magician, always a Magician:

Will Johnson 13-14’ (Wisconsin) – Will Johnson is a junior year at the University of Wisconsin. He currently leads the 7th ranked Badger with 11 points (4G 7A). Johnson now has 42 career points at Wisconsin.

Marc Michaelis 14-15’ (Minnesota State-Mankato) – Michaelis is starting his second season at the Minnesota-State University. Last weekend he had six points and was named the WCHA Forward of the Week and the NCAA First Star! He already has 12 points (7G 5A) on the young season.

Nathan Krusko 14-15’ (Harvard) – Krusko played for the Magicians in 2014-15 and is now in sophomore season at Harvard. As a freshman, he had 17 points for the Crimson and this season he has two points in the first five games.

Pierce Crawford 15-16’ (Notre Dame) – After scoring 37 points in 58 games in the USHL for the Youngstown Phantoms, Crawford is now a freshman at Notre Dame. He’s played two games for Irish in this young season.

Michael Wilson 15-16’ (Army) – Former Magician, Michael Wilson is now a sophomore at Army and leads the team with 12 points (8G 4A) in 10 games.

Mitch Slattery 15-17’ (Northern Michigan) – Last year, Slattery was the leading scoring for the Magicians, now he is in his first season at Northern Michigan University. He played in ten games for the Wildcats and has picked up one assist.

Kris McKinze 14-15’ (St. Scholastica) – McKinze was the captain for the Magi in 2014-15 and now he in his junior season at the College of St. Scholastica where he is an assistant captain for the Saints. He has three points in six games so far this season.

Brady Heppner 14-16’ (St. John’s) – Heppner played two and half seasons for the Magicians, now he currently in his sophomore season at St. John’s University. He leads the team with 9 points (3G 6A) in the first six games of the season.

Travis Brown 14-17′ (St. John’s) – Brown was a star on the blueline for the Magicians the last few year, now he is having an instant impact on St. John’s blueline. He has 4 points (2G 2A) and is +2 this season.

Hunter Lellig 16-17′ (Waterloo) – After having a successful season with the Magicians, Lellig was moved on to the Waterloo Blackhawks in the USHL. He has 3 points in the first 12 games for the Black Hawks. He committed to play his college hockey at the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

Ivan Prosvetov 16-17′ (Youngstown) – Last year Prosvetov minded the net for the Magi. He is now with Youngstown Phantoms in the USHL. He is 5-2-2 with 2.75 GAA and .915 SV%.
