Magicians Complete Trade Prior to 2015 NAHL Draft

The Minnesota Magicians have completed a trade in advance of the upcoming 2015 North American Hockey League (NAHL) draft. 

In the transaction, the Magicians acquired forward Tyler Funk from the Coulee Region Chill in exchange for a 2015 5th Round Draft Pick and a Conditional Pick in 2016. Funk, a Woodbury, Minnesota native, played in 48 NAHL games last season, starting the year with the Springfield Jr. Blues before ending up with the Chill for the end of the regular season and their first round playoff series. He tallied 6 goals and 9 assists for a total of 15 points on the year. Prior to his NAHL career, he played his high school hockey for the Hill Murray Pioneers of the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL).
