The Minnesota Magicians are excited to announce a promotion with Sharing and Caring Hands, a non-profit organization established as a bridge between concerned community members and those in need. To do our part, the Minnesota Magicians will invite fans to bring nonperishable food items to Richfield Ice Arena beginning on December 20, 2013. Donations will continue being collected until February 22, 2014, when the Magicians face off against the Coulee Region Chill. During the second intermission of that night’s game, all collected food items will be donated to Sharing and Caring Hands. Director of Broadcast and Media Relations Jimmy Lilledahl said of the event, “The Minnesota Magicians strive to be an organization that gives back to the community, and a partnership with Sharing and Caring hands presents us with an opportunity to do just that. We hope that this event will provide the foundation for a strong relationship between both organizations for years to come. ”The Minnesota Magicians (Members of the NAHL) will embark on their inaugural season in 2013-2014.
