Magicians Sign Travis Koepke

The Minnesota Magicians are proud to announce the signing of former Hermantown Hawk standout Travis Koepke for the inaugural season. No stranger to the big stage, Travis has played in the state tournament the last three seasons under legendary coach Bruce Plante. In each of his three seasons with the Hawks, he has increased his point production. This season, Travis posted 66 points as a senior and led his club to the State Championship at the Excel Energy Center.

Koepke showed consistency appearing in all 28 games, averaging 2.5 points per game. Koepke is known for his play making abilities and possesses the skills to blossom in the North American Hockey League. Head Coach Scott Meyer said, “Travis is an exciting talent that will help our club next season. He can be used in all situations and has great play making ability.” The Minnesota Magicians (Members of the NAHL) will embark on their inaugural season in 2013-2014.
