Magicians Sign Vincent Weis to Tender Agreement

The Minnesota Magicians are excited to announce that defenseman Vincent Weis of the Madison Capitols U18 program has signed a tender agreement with the team for the 2017-18 season.

Weis is a native of Madison, Wisconsin and has played both prep and midget hockey in his hometown. In 2015-2016 he played in 24 Wisconsin Prep league games for Madison Edgewood, and an addition 38 midget games for Team Wisconsin. This season Weis is playing for the Madison Capitols of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) 18U level. Through 21 games this year, he has put up a goal and 8 assists for a total of 9 points from the blue line.

Speaking about Weis, Magicians Head Coach and General Manager Scott Meyer said, “Vincent is a very competitive puck moving d-man. He has played a lot of competitive hockey in recent years and we are excited to have that experience with the Magicians next season.”
