Magicians Tender Nolan Schaeffer

May 26, 2014

The Minnesota Magicians have signed defenseman Nolan Schaeffer to a tender agreement for the 2014-2015 season. A Marshall Minnesota native, Schaeffer played with Team Illinois at the U16 Major Midget level of the High Performance Hockey League (HPHL) for the past two seasons. In 2013, Schaeffer was drafted in the 6th Round by the Chicago Steel of the United States Hockey League (USHL) and appeared in three games with the Coulee Region Chill of the NAHL.  At 6’3 200 pounds, he has the attributes to be a physical defenseman.

“Nolan Schaeffer is another player who we are extremely excited to sign to a tender for next season. Nolan plays the game hard and is very focused on his education and development. His mindset and the way he goes about his business on and off the ice every day is exactly what we want here with the Magicians. He will be another player who fans in Richfield will have a blast watching” noted Head Coach and General Manager Tom Upton.

The Minnesota Magicians embark in their 2nd year in the NAHL in 2014-2015. The team will host their Pre-Draft Camp May 30-June 1 in Richfield, Minnesota and Open Camp June 20-22 in Simi Valley, California. For more information on season tickets visit www.wisconsinjuniorhockey.com
