Dec 8, 2014

Minnesota Magicians forward Marc Michaelis has been called up to the Green Bay Gamblers of the United States Hockey League (USHL). A Mannheim, Germany native, Michaelis was drafted by the Magicians in the 2014 North American Hockey League (NAHL) draft and appeared in 27 games for the Magicians.  During his stint in Minnesota, he had 9 goals and 22 assists to lead the team with 31 points.

Speaking about the move, Magicians Head Coach Tom Upton said, “We are very happy for Marc and his opportunity in the USHL with the Green Bay Gamblers. Our organization is driven by developing players and helping move them on to the next level. He has done a great job while he was here in helping establish our organization and team as a top development program in the NAHL for the USHL and Division 1 College Hockey and we are proud to say that he is a Magician. We wish him the best of luck with his new opportunity in the USHL.

Last season Marc led the Jungadler Mannheim U18 program in scoring, earning himself a spot on the World Junior Classic U18 team. Marc has committed to play D-1 hockey at Minnesota State University.
