Lakeville South native, Dawson Klein has signed with the Minnesota Magicians for the 2017-18 season.
Klein is a defenseman that was a big part of the Lakeville South high school team that made it all the way to the State Tournament last season. He had 13 points (5 goals 8 goals) in 25 games and added 3 more points in the playoffs.
Klien had this to say about joining the Magicians, “I’m really excited to start playing at the Junior level with a great organization. Camp was a lot of fun and the guys were awesome. I’m looking forward to being able to stay home and continue to push my game to another level with the Magicians.”
Assistant Coach, Ben Weiand added this about Klein, “Dawson was a big contributor for Lakeville South last season and we are excited to add a talented local player like him to our group this season. He’s a defenseman that can really skate and makes good decisions. He’s always involved in the play and great in all 3 zones. We look forward to working with him and being part of his development.”
