MN Magicians uses early goal to top MN Wilderness, 3-1

Nicholas Kuchera gave the MN Magicians Magicians the lead in the first period, and the MN Wilderness Wilderness was never able to catch up in a close game that ended 3-1.

Kuchera provided MN Magicians with the game-winning tally when he scored 17:53 into the the first period.

 

Kuchera was all over the ice for the Magicians, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win.

MN Magicians' Atte Tolvanen was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 39 saves and let only one puck past him. Tolvanen certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.44 entering the contest.

The Magicians excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.

MN Magicians additionally got points from Will Johnson, who also had one goal and one assist. In addition, MN Magicians received assists from Matt Colford, who had two.
