PROSPECT REPORT: Brett Gravelle

Jun 21, 2015

The final 2015-2016 tender to be covered in our Prospect Reports is forward Brett Gravelle from Forest Lake, Minnesota. During his first season of junior hockey in 2014-2015, Gravelle started the year with the Minnesota Wilderness of the North American Hockey League (NAHL). He then moved on to the North American Tier 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) to play with the North Iowa Bulls and put up stellar numbers in an abbreviated season. In only 36 regular season games, Gravelle tallied 21 goals and 40 assists for a total of 61 points. He continued to produce in the playoffs, contributing 8 goals and 7 assists in only 9 games. Prior to his junior hockey career, Gravelle played prep hockey at Forest Lake High School.

Magicians Head Coach Tom Upton said of Gravelle, "Brett was one of the top players in the NA3HL last season for one of the most successful organizations in North Iowa. He was also a top high school player from his time at Forest Lake. He can skate well and shoots the puck in stride. His skating and work ethic create scoring opportunities for himself. We are excited to see Brett continue to develop and have an impact at the NAHL level and beyond."

The Magicians initial roster for the 2015-2016 season will be determined following the team's main camp in Late July at Richfield Ice Arena. Follow the team on Facebook and Twitter to stay up to date with all the latest news and information!
