PROSPECT REPORT: Frank Horowitz

Jun 16, 2015

A Los Angeles, California native, forward Frank Horowitz is another player tendered by the Magicians for the 2015-2016 season. This season, he was a late addition for the California Titans U18 team of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL). Despite playing in only 5 regular season games for the Titans, however, he was able to contribute 3 goals and 4 assists for a total of 7 points. He continued to produce in the playoffs, providing 1 goal and 2 assists in 4 games played.  Prior to his short stint in the NAPHL, Horowitz played prep hockey in Connecticut at Avon Old Farms School.

Magicians Head Coach Tom Upton said this of Horowitz, "Frankie has played hockey in all different areas of the United States which I believe is one of his biggest strengths as a player. He has a knack to score goals and be an offensive player. With his experience that spans from the Northeast to Southern California, he should be a big asset to our team and find a niche in our line-up right away."

Horowitz and other Magicians prospects can be seen at the upcoming Magicians Main Camp at Richfield Arena in late July.  For all of the latest news and information regarding Minnesota Magicians hockey, follow the team on Facebook and Twitter!
