Schaeffer and Krusko Drafted in 2015 USHL Draft

Minnesota Magicians rookies Nolan Schaeffer and Nathan Krusko were drafted today in the 2015 United States Hockey League (USHL) draft.  Schaeffer, a defenseman, was drafted by the Fargo Force in the 5th Round (#77 Overall), and Krusko, a forward, was drafted by the Omaha Lancers in the 8th Round (#126 Overall).

Marshall Minnesota native Nolan Schaeffer was an integral part of the Magicians defensive corps this season. In 47 games through the regular season, he contributed 7 goals and 9 assists while providing a physical presence on the Magicians blue line. 

Nathan Krusko, from Alpharetta Georgia, was one of the top rookie scorers for the Magicians in the 2014-2015 season.  In 61 games through the regular season and playoffs, Krusko registered 13 goals and 19 assists, while also adding 99 shots on goal.
