Kuhlman Called Up

The Minnesota Magicians are excited to announce that defenseman Spencer Kuhlman has been called up to the United States Hockey League (USHL) with the Waterloo Blackhawks.  A native of Grand Forks, North Dakota, Kuhlman has appeared in 13 games with the Magicians this season registering 1 point and a +2 rating. He will spend the weekend with Waterloo and return to the Magicians next week.

Magicians head Coach Tom Upton said of the news, “We are very excited for Spencer's opportunity with the Waterloo Blackhawks. He is a great young man with high character and work ethic. That character and work ethic along with his performance on the ice have created this great opportunity for him to gain experience in the USHL. Our organization is always looking to help our players compete at the highest level possible whether that be Division I College Hockey or the USHL, we are happy that Waterloo has recognized that in our organization. We all from the Magicians wish Spencer the best of luck in their games this weekend!

The Magicians are currently competing in their 2nd season of North American Hockey League (NAHL) play out of Richfield Arena.  For more information and the latest news and updates about Magicians hockey, visit www.wisconsinjuniorhockey.com and follow the team on Facebook and Twitter.
