The Windigo are pleased to announce the addition of Frank Jenkins from the Corpus Christi Ice Rays. The 6’3″, 212 lbs. defenseman is from Fraser, MI. He played his first two years of junior hockey with Hamilton of the Ontario Hockey League. Frank played one season in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and split time last season in the NAHL between the Johnstown Tomahawks and Ice Rays. According to head coach Blake Hietala, “Frank brings veteran presence and tremendous experience to our blueline. His vision of the ice, physicality, and playmaking ability will compliment the strong defensive core we have on our team.” Your first opportunity to watch Frank is this Friday (1/13) and Saturday (1/14) at the Dome in Eagle River. Puck drop is 7pm. First responders will be admitted free with an ID on Friday. Get your tickets at the door or at www.wisconsinjuniorhockey.com.
