Weekend Recap: All Ice Dogs

Dec 10, 2017

After sweeping the Coulee Region Chill last weekend, the Magicians were swept by the Fairbanks Ice Dogs this weekend.

The Magicians got off to slow start on Friday night, as the Ice Dogs were able to score three first period goals and never looked back from there. The Ice Dogs walked away with a 4-1 victory. Davis Kirkendall had the lone Magicians’ goal and Saville had 22 saves.

Saturday, it was the Magicians that got off to a hot start as Jarrett Lee scored in the first period to give the Magic a 1-0 after one. But the Ice Dogs tallied six-second period goals to take complete control of the game. The completed the sweeps with an 8-3 win. A bright spot on Saturday was Star Wars night and we want to thank all you fans that came out to support the Magicians! It was a lot of fun and great atmosphere.
