Weekend Recap: Magicians Earn Three Points Against the Jets

Jan 21, 2018

The Magicians took on the Janesville Jets this weekend at Richfield Ice Arena. On Friday, the Magicians picked up a 3-2 victory with a great 38 saves performance by goaltender Conor Klaers. The Magic also picked a goal and assist from both Ethan DeStefani and Cullen McCabe.

Saturday, the Magicians looked down and out, being down by two goals with just seven minutes left in the third. But the Magicians were about to pick up two late goals to force overtime, including a goal from Ben Schultheis with just 5 seconds remaining in regulation! The Jets would end up will in overtime but I was a solid effort by the Magicians to gain a point.

The Magicians will be back in action Wednesday night at Richfield Ice Arena against the Coulee Region Chill.
